Several units at ULB are involved in the FoodWal portfolio.

The Structure and Function of Biological Membranes Research Unit (SFBM) is a scientific partner in the PEPTIBoost project. The SFMB will provide precision analytical support via infrared spectroscopy to resolve the molecular fingerprint and structural characteristics of the innovative bioactive peptides developed. The inter-university (ULB-ULiège) Robotein® platform will be called upon to carry out this mission.

The Transfers, Interfaces and Processes Department (TIPs) is a scientific partner in the PROTEBoost project. Drawing on its expertise in the coupling of neural networks and phenomenological models, TIPs will be responsible for modelling and analysing the processes for implementing substitute products based on purple bacteria biomass.
