The accredited research centre Celabor, and more specifically its Extraction department, is a scientific partner in the PEPTIBoost and PROTEBoost projects.
For the PEPTIBoost project, Celabor is in charge of the fractionation and purification of protein hydrolysates. these two steps enable researchers to isolate bioactive peptides from complex matrices, in particular by centrifugal partition chromatography.
For the PROTEBoost project, Celabor is in charge of harvesting, stabilising and concentrating purple bacteria biomass while preserving the nutritional, organoleptic and techno-functional qualities. These properties are required for the development of healthy, attractive and sustainable food products. The technological platforms available at Celabor are of semi-pilot size, enabling the scaling-up of processes validated in the laboratory to be studied.
